Re: What would you suggest?
Myself [and many of us] ACCUMULATE knives. Real collectors, specialize and select one or two types [Stilettos, Leverlocks, etc.] and try to get every variation [blade types and materials, such as ATS-34/420/Damascus and scale types] of those, they can find. Decide if you want two collect or accumul...

Re: Mikov fans...What do you think of the new Microtechs?
I've often wondered how close the internals of a Microtech are to a Concoord, NATO etc. If the mechanism for the Concord is largly similar and old enough to be unprotected why don't other companies jump on the DA OTF band wagon?
Maybe Mikov should look into a DA OTF.

Re: Mikov fans...What do you think of the new Microtechs?
Patents not withstanding, that just ain't right. It's pretty much a blatent rip off. Makes me think about reconsidering our possition on not selling knockoffs. MT knockoffs anyway. Rumor has it that the price tag is going to be in the $400.00 range. OUCH!! Imagine what it would be it they ha...

Re: Mikov fans...What do you think of the new Microtechs?
Nope. It's on Microtechs site. The new OSS "Cobra". http://www.microtechknives.com/osscobra.html ( Maybe Paragons next knife should be called the OMG Scarab or the WTF Ultratech.) A new "design" has been rumored for months. This was quick. But then again most of the design work seems to have been do...

Re: Expendables knives
We have several celeb clients. Here's a custom 20 inch Grampa Campolin fishtail Sly bought that ended up being a birthday present for Arnold Schwarzenegger. The "Gov" used it as a prop in a twitter video on cutting the budget. The media picked it up and acted like he was an axe murderer for "weildin...

Expendables knives
We went to see Sly Stallones new movie "the Expendables" tonight. It's a knife lovers wet dream. I was surprised to see knives in the movie that Sly got from us as well as a razor (Ceasar) that Sly sent me a picture of months ago in a request to have a larger version custom made. He didn't mention t...

Re: Where to sell knives?
Tom. We don't do consignement sales but we sell a knife or two and have always been interested in offering new, unique items to our clients as well as supporting knife makers. I've watched that knife come along for a good long time and have always liked it. We would be interestred in showcasing them...

Re: S.W.A.T Knives. Dave Reed Phoenix AZ
I always really dug the little double bladed ones but never picked one up! We might still have a few left HD. We bought a bunch when Dave quit making them. There was a bigger version as well. Got this from an uncle in Arizona. He's bought a few Microtechs from him. Worth a try. http://goodstuffcoll...

You're right. I bought on of these:
It cuts like a BEAST and holds an edge very well. Definately a workhorse.

Re: Extrema Ratio MF1
I've met some of the Extrema Ratio guys and handled several of their knives. Both are top notch. ERs are a bit pricey but they are well designed and very high quality. I've always wondered why they didn't get much attention in the US. Are they popular on your side of the pond Milu? I don't think the...

Looks like it's got NS front bolsters and SS rear bolsters. What kind of locking mechanism? It's not clear in the picture.

Re: Rob Dalton Retired?
According to "me", Rob probably had to quit. I am the person that machined all of his knives for almost 10 years !!!! I did all machining and for the last 4 years all the blade grinding ! ! ! ! The only thing he did was assembly and sharpening, (also keeping most of the money.) Before I quit after ...
